I went to have bloodwork done this morning, and the first thing I thought when the nurse walked in was "oh my god, it's movie!Lupin in drag" (sans moustache, of course). Now, for all of my fearless posturing, I am a complete wuss when it comes to having my blood drawn. Thankfully, she's extremely good at her job, so it wasn't terrible, but I was nevertheless feeling a bit lightheaded by the time she was done pilfering my precious hemoglobin. She left the room to let me relax a bit, and when she came back, she was holding a piece of chocolate.
"Eat this," she said, "It will help."
I promptly dissolved in a fit of laughter.
Apparently, I'm not the first to think she looks like a female version of our dear werewolf, and when she recognized my sweater as part of the Slytherin uniform (yes, my Slytherin sweater is a regular part of my wardrobe; yes, I realize this officially brands me as a geek to anyone who recognizes it) she thought the chocolate bit would make me feel better.
It did.
