That was so beautiful! At least Snape can live on in fan fiction. His death was so tragic, such a waste. The way that you saved him in this, and subsequently had him shy away from the post-war wizarding world is just perfect.

I love how you've woven the two of them together so closely, and how Lucius eventually eclipses Lily in Snape's affections. It's very fitting for his rebirth - a new beginning.

And I must add that you've fostered the Snucius bug in me. I'm all over them right now, and this story in particular has given me a lot of ideas for drawrings. I do hope that they come through! I'm having a teensy bit of a block at the moment... but I'm confident that I'll start with some Lucius/Snape soon.
