Non-fic: Visual Crossover
Since drawing Potter characters in a decidedly Japanese style seems to be all the rage, let's play a game, shall we? Let's create a visual beastiary from photos of video game, anime, and manga characters.



Lucius Malfoy
Sadly, I occassionally do find myself thinking of Lucius this way. Oh, I think of Jason Isaacs quite often as well, but sometimes he just insists on taking the form of the first and only animated character who has ever given me heart palpitations. (There is also a secondary possibility.)

Draco Malfoy
Ah yes, another Advent Children photo. If Lucius occassionally looks like Sephiroth in my mind, then his son would also bear a striking resemblance, no? Besides, have you seen Tom Felton out of costume? Far from lovely, I assure you. (My apologies, Tom, but you know it's true).

Severus Snape
Is now a really terrible time to make a vampire joke? What a pity. This one is all but flinging the door open and sending an engraved invitation for that sort of thing. Also, do you remember when I said that Sephiroth is the only animated character to have ever given me heart palpitations? I lied.
(The Professor would like to express his feelings concerning this comparison.)

Albus Dumbledore
Just another generic old man, right? Well, that's what you thought about Dumbledore, too- until you found out that he'll fuck your shit up. See?

Sirius Black
Speaking of people who will fuck your shit up. Shaggy black hair? Check. Scars that can make fangirls squeal with glee at 100 yards? Damn straight. Tendency to fly into a murderous rage for no apparent reason? So damn right.
(Okay, I'm being forced to retract that last statement, since Sirius is moping about it.)

Fred Weasley and George Weasley
Neither of them is sure what I was thinking when I dreamed this one up. Frankly, I'm not sure either.

Mad Eye Moody
Moody's just a little too happy with his new eyepatch to notice what I've done to his hair. Let's move on before he catches up, eh?

Harry Potter
Horrendous hair? Check. Complete lack of fashion sense? Check. Enough said.
(Or if you want glasses and a tendency to fly into a fit of angst for no apparent reason, there is an alternative.)
