News: Same-Sex Marriage Legalized in California
As of today, same-sex marriage is now legal in California.
Mayor Villaraigosa, you've earned no small amount of utter adoration from me for very publicly and very loudly standing behind the supreme court's decision, and for vowing to be the officiant at as many weddings as possible. Schwarzenegger, you get a tip of the hat from me for conceding the battle with relative grace. West Hollywood, I hope you're prepared for all the celebrations that are inevitably going to take place this weekend. I know I'll be there.
